Last Episode...

The audit and strategy recommendations have been completed and now it's time to make it real. The account should be overhauled to reflect modern best practices and mitigate some (in my opinion) issues in the existing setup. A proposed structure has been developed and an initial implementation approach decided.

Project Goal

Setup the account following the new approach and launch for 2+ months to prove whether or not Google Ads can work for Punchpass.

Proposed Fix

3 Month Google Ads Sprint
Month 1: Campaign plan development (taking the Notion Doc from audit and ideas to roadmap), keyword and copy exercise to get the bones in place, campaign buildout, event tracking implementation
Month 2: launch, campaign management, any post-launch QA, reportingMonth 3: Adapt and evolve based on what we learned during month 2, potentially experiment a bit, continue to manage what's working, reporting. Make a yes/no decision on continuing to run Google Ads.

  • Ad content for review and approval

  • Overhauled Google Ads account

  • Monthly reporting

The Nitty Gritty

  • Start Date: December 1, 2025 (can start in November to give more time before Christmas)

  • Deadline: February 28, 2026

  • Proposed cost: $5,000*

  • Month 1: $2,000

  • Month 2: $1,500

Pricing based on an hourly rate of $150
Amount based on expected work while trying to offer value and cost certainty
Payment terms: each month billed at the beginning of the month for work to be done in the month ahead

What Is Success?

Being able to confidently make a well-informed decision on how impactful Google Ads can or can't be to Punchpass's customer acquisition efforts.
